How long does it actually take?

A short brief of six questions, then about 90 seconds to see your primary logo mark. Add your email and the rest of the logo family follows. After you buy, the full 18-asset kit assembles in about 10 minutes.

How does Vellem compare with Looka, Brandmark, Canva or Tailor Brands?

Vellem sells the finished 18-asset kit outright for one payment; the others rent a logo, charge per download, or bundle it into a subscription. We keep a side-by-side for each, with their published prices and the date we checked them. Vellem vs Looka, vs Brandmark, vs Canva and vs Tailor Brands.

Do I need to know anything about design?

No. The whole point of Vellem is that you don't have to know the difference between a serif and a sans-serif. You answer questions about what your business does, who it is for, and how it should feel, and you pick a color direction by vibe rather than hex codes.

What if I hate the result?

You see a full preview before you pay anything. The preview shows your wordmark, your mark, your palette, and 8 of your asset tiles, all watermarked. If you don't love it, don't pay.

Can I use my Vellem brand for anything?

Yes. 100% commercial rights are included. Use it on your website, social, packaging, ads, products, services, signage, anything.

What file formats do I get?

Your logo marks come as 1024px PNG masters with transparent backgrounds, ready for web, print, and social. Your wordmark, lockups, and social templates come as SVG layout files, and favicons and app icons ship at every standard size. Color codes come in hex and RGB; your printer can convert them to CMYK.

What's the difference between The Kit and Studio?

The Kit ($95 one-time) is one complete 18-asset brand identity, owned forever. Studio ($195 one-time) is The Kit plus Studio for that brand at vellem.io/studio. Make on-brand posts in 6 layouts and 5 sizes for Instagram, Stories, LinkedIn, Facebook and X, with your logo, colors and type already on them, and export PNG or JPG. Put your real name, role, email, phone and website on your business card, letterhead, email signature and website. Change your name spelling, type style, colors, tagline or voice words, watch your kit files update, and re-issue the whole 18-asset kit and brand book up to 5 times a day. Your original version and your 3 most recent keep their downloads, earlier versions can be restored and re-issued, and your public kit page shows the latest one. Studio also makes one-color logo files. Studio does not make new logo marks.

Does Studio make new logos?

No. Studio works with the marks you bought, and your logo images keep the colors they were drawn in; one-color logo files follow the colors you pick. If you rename your brand or change its type style, ink color or accent color, your custom-drawn lettering switches to typeset lettering. For different marks, build a new kit.

How do I sign in to Studio?

With the email you bought with. We email a 6-digit code, and you stay signed in on that browser for up to 30 days. Right after buying, the confirmation page opens Studio for you.

Is Studio a subscription?

No. Every Vellem tier is a one-time payment: Kit Lite $39, The Kit $95, Studio $195. There is no monthly plan for sale.

Can I upgrade to Studio after buying the Kit?

Yes, one brand at a time. Sign in at vellem.io/studio with your purchase email, try Studio on your own brand, and choose Add Studio. You pay Studio's current price minus what you paid for that brand's kit before tax, and at least $1: $100 after The Kit at $95, $156 after Kit Lite at $39. Kit versions you re-issue from Studio carry no Vellem credit. If the kit is refunded, Studio for that brand ends too.

I subscribed to Pro before it was retired. What happens now?

Nothing changes for you. Your subscription keeps working at the same price, you can manage or cancel it anytime from your account page, and every kit you generated stays yours forever with full commercial rights.

Are there any recurring charges?

No. Every tier for sale today is one-time. The only recurring charge that exists is the legacy Pro subscription, for people who joined before it was retired; those subscribers still get an email reminder 3 days before each renewal and can cancel from the account page in two clicks.

Is my brand unique to me?

Yes. Every kit is generated specifically for your inputs. We don't reuse logos. Your brand name, what you do, who you serve, the feel you asked for and your color direction all go into the mark, so no two briefs land in the same place.

What if I want a designer to refine it further?

Great idea. You can use Vellem as a starting point for a designer to refine. Your wordmark, lockups, and templates come as SVG layout files a designer can open in Illustrator or Figma, and your marks come as high-resolution 1024px PNG masters to work from.

Can I generate brands for multiple businesses?

Yes. Each business needs its own one-time purchase ($95, or $39 with Kit Lite).

What if my brand needs a complete rebrand later?

Buy a new kit ($95, or $39 with Kit Lite). No tier makes new logo marks after purchase; Studio re-issues your kit with a new name spelling, type style, colors and voice using the marks you bought. Your old kit's hosted page stays up while that purchase is not refunded.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your brand name, choices, and generated kit are private to you. We don't sell or share your data. Your purchase comes with a hosted kit page at a link built from your brand name and purchase date. Anyone with the link can view it, so share it only where you want it seen. What if Vellem shuts down?

Your kit files are yours forever. Download them locally as backup once you receive them. We deliver real downloadable files rather than only providing access through our platform.

Do you do custom illustration or icons?

No. Vellem generates wordmarks and geometric/abstract marks, but we don't do custom character illustration or detailed iconography.

Can I use Vellem for client work as a designer?

There is no agency or white-label plan for sale today. The Terms of Service do not allow reselling a Kit as a brand identity package to another party. If a client wants a Vellem kit, they can buy it themselves; the license allows modification, so you can refine the files for them. For anything else, email [email protected].
