Time to delivery
Vellem: Your primary mark previews free in about 90 seconds. Giving an email unlocks the rest of the logo family, including the wordmark, about 75 seconds later. After purchase, the kit ZIP is ready to download from the confirmation page within about 10 minutes. A kit-ready email follows 10 to 70 minutes after purchase and links to your account page, which emails a 24-hour download link.
Tailor Brands: Tailor Brands says its logo maker generates a logo in under a minute, and that a brand book, branded letterheads, seasonal logos and business cards are created for free when you design a logo. Other assets come from its design tools and templates.

Customization depth
Vellem: Your brief sets the direction: style, palette and up to two mark directions. The kit is composed from that brief, and there is no logo editor after purchase.
Tailor Brands: More iteration options for the logo itself, through a logo editor inside Tailor Studio. Its help center notes the editor's limits: only Tailor Brands fonts, icons and elements, no uploading your own fonts or icons, no adjusting individual letters, names under 30 characters, and most logo fonts support English-only characters.
Who Tailor Brands is better for
If you also want to register your LLC, build a website or online store, get a domain, keep your books, file a trademark, and design your logo all in the same platform, Tailor Brands' breadth is genuinely useful. A subscription can make sense if you're using several of those services.
Who Vellem is better for
If your main thing is "I need a complete brand identity, fast, for one payment with a commercial-use license, and I'm going to use the assets across various tools I already have," Vellem is purpose-built for that exact use case. Founders who already have their domain, website tool, and social accounts set up usually just need the brand identity to make everything coherent.
